In July, Magdaléna von Jagwitz took over from Corinna Klingler as Stakeholder Manager at the German Biobank Node (GBN) office. She completed her studies in molecular biology (specialising in anthropogenetics), philosophy and literature in Brno (Czech Republic) and Aachen (Germany), gaining laboratory experience within the haematology-oncology department at the University Hospital Brno and the RWTH Aachen University. An internship within the bioethics department at the Institute for Marriage and Family in Vienna allowed her to pursue her interest in the subject of bioethics.
